Lightweight phone pouch for rucksack strap

Can anyone recommend a lightweight mobile phone carrying pouch to clip onto the shoulder straps of a rucksack?

I know there are plenty of army surplus phone / walkie-talkie molle pouches on eBay, I have used them in the past and to be fair, they work - but they are over-engineered and heavy to boot.
I'm looking for something much more lightweight to attach to a shoulder strap on my Exos 48 to keep my phone secure while hiking so I don't need to have it in my pocket.

Best,

J

I found the ones that Gossamer Gear, Granite Gear etc offer, tend to be pretty small.

@paul has some on stock and @slovhike sells custom pockets.

I love my Treadlite DCF fold over phone pouch. Simple, clean and practical. His others with zips have worked great for me in the past and like how I can wear them on my wrist and hand if walking round the shops when I've no pockets.

Thanks guys. I went for the Treadlite phone pouch. Appears to be just what I am looking for.

I've got an MLD one, a Tread-Lite one, some other random DCF one and a Gossamer Gear one. The GG is the biggest (it comes in 2 sizes) by a long way, easily takes my S10+ and an anker 20000 power bank, just so happens its lying in front of me as I'm "packing":D I tend to just put the phone in the mesh pouch and the powerbank in the padded pocket

Ive given 3 of the 4 away (I prefer loaned, but I doubt I'll see them again) Debating removing the GG one as well tbh, i sometimes find them irritating, as every one of them sticks out either side of the strap, a big mesh fixed pocket would be my preferred option

Big GG pocket hasn't been in stock for awhile at ULOG, hence my comment. I have the smaller one which is just big enough to fit a Mars bar or two.

Do you need to use the screen often?

By far the lightest most comfortable solution is something like https://www.ronhill.com/products/stretch-arm-pocket but is a bit of a faff to get the device out frequently. Great for use with headphones/watch and occasional screen checking. One thing I'd say about shoulder strap solutions: when you dump the pack for a rest the straps have a tendency to fall like an axe to the side. I've not bust a phone this way but there have been a couple of sickening "clunks" onto rocks when I have forgotten. I've used Paul's pouches for this before. What I'd maybe like would be a strap pocket with a stretch holder for a phone similar to https://m.media-amazon.com/images/S...-429c654c85ad._CR21,0,447,447_PT0_SX300__.jpg behind the zip section
