Hello from Surrey!

Hiya!
I am joining this forum since most of the resources I had found so far were US-centric.

I am more and more into walking, I have done mostly 1 and 2 day hikes.

I love dramatic scenery, wich in Surrey there isnt (sorry, the countryside is pretty but it just bores me, to each their own) and love the british coast and mountains. I find Seven Sisters and the Scottish mountains to be out of this world.

My baseweight is already pretty low, I have been shedding weight considerably in the last months.

Im mostly looking for new ideas for weekend hikes around the UK and europe and help planning.
(And I am stuck with the fabulous national rail....).

My next plans include a weekend hike in the pyrenees and another in cornwall (the weather is the hard part for this one).

Pretty excited about this forum!

Welcome - sounds like a plan, although a weekend in each sounds a bit hectic!

I like a link if I can find one - here's a "Daymoth" that I spotted on the South West Coast Path in sunny Cornwall last month.

Welcome to the forum!
I moved 3 miles over the surrey / Hampshire border into Hampshire 9 years ago, life is so much better ;)
dramatic it's not, but as you say, pretty.
Trip reports and kit lists are always good:)
