Does any one have an idea on the equivalent warmth of 100g SQM primaloft in down ?

I have a quick google and circa 60g of 800fill SQM would seem to be realistic ?

    Any thoughts ?

The best Climashield/primaloft I've heard is equivalent to 600fp down, so 100g /2m primaloft I'd have thought would be between 60-80g/2m?
Or do it by the temp rating, somewhere on the net there is a chart saying 2" of down is good to -6 etc and work out the cu inches from there?

I've googled similar in the past. For what it is worth I came up with a similar conclusion. That is 50-70g of good down is equivalent insulation to 100g of good synthetic.

Then I tie myself in knots trying to decide if the animal welfare issues of down are outweighed by the environmental problems of plastic. Either way I steer clear of China.

I've bought my down from ex tex recently, but I hope the Chinese suppliers get welfare issues up to Western standards and certified soon.
It's worth keeping in mind the results on human wellbeing of us buying Chinese stuff, the negatives are advertised everywhere, but the positives are conspicuously missing from the media.
