In the end I ordered a pair of GramXpert Apex 67 Trousers, after they very helpfully advised on the correct sizing. I resisted the temptation to go for the 100 weight, as at 67 I reckon they're modular; I can always wear a base layer under them in deep winter weather.

It'll be about 8 weeks until I get them, taking me into November when I'm likely to need them. Looking forward to trying them and thanks again folks!
