All set for coffee. No lighter forgot that I’ve stopped smoking
Necessity is the mother of invention, time to hone those bushcraft skills.
You no lighter, me no water
Down south a bit. Raw and wild. Ducked into the dunes to get some shelter from the biting wind.
Clean small, one metre offshore, 'A Frame' waves for the surfing Trekliters. Lefts and rights.
Yesterday's socially distant brew with @Shewie
Hey -you two on the turps up there
with a coffee chaser?!
@Shewie was... I was on solids with a coffee chaser
Just before the lockdown.
What's the sit pad Teepee?
A Mondaplen mat, corrugated CCF. I hoped it would be far comfier than my other CCF mats but it wasnt worth the extra weight. Works nice in my pack though.
When too much Elvis is barely enough. He's keeping my bikkies warm this morning. I can hear him saying "hey Lamont- a little less coffee a little more action..." It's alright for him- he gets carried the 6 ks back.
Can't look at the view for him.
Advent of dawn earlier.
All that view and I'm seeing an Esbit stove. I need help.
Also the first thing I looked at
Mad what peoples eyes go to, I didn't even notice the sit pad really, was to busy looking at the coffee thinking, I bet that tastes nice.
Haha, had just been looking for foam pad with a surface profile similar to gosamer gears nightlight pad. Then that pic suddenly appeared!
Finding water was a task @ #kinderdownfall but a puddle beneath the rocks sufficed
No water in Kinder Downfall and Chisseler's beard has gone. Now we know the world really is coming to an end.
Cant tell whether that's a coffee or just usual Peak peaty water.
Did you encounter many people up there?, hoping to go next week.
Had to lose some weight somehow
It was a very peaty static pool... Glad I had the windburner and a full bottle
We hit the trail from the Snake Pass at around 7am. Saw two people on the way to the fall and around a dozen on the way back. One group of four, all the rest were single and paired walkers & runners.
