Cnoc Trekking Poles - longer than most

    The weight is decent. The price is, perhaps, less good.

    There didn’t look to be many pledges made last time I checked, it would be a shame if it was a nonstarter, not sure if it’s picked up any since.

    I wonder if the comment about parts being easily replaced could be expensive if not US based though, but then I suppose it’s no different to BD etc

    The overthinking and over engineering may not have helped. It seemed like that they were suggesting that the poles would need parts replacing on a long trek.

    Alpkit do a carbon upper/,alloy lower pole set that are extra long for ~£50

    I use one for my Altaplex, it saves carrying a pole extender. It feels very light in the hand too.

    I've been tempted to try some. Got some komperdell carbon/alloy poles last year, but they feel a bit clunky, if well made after AK carbonlites
