for @WilliamC and you PhilOH-tighten that hood!
Thanks for pointing out that video. The hood on the Forclaz isn't loose enough that I'll do anything about it. I'll be wearing an ID Primalid Beanie underneath, and that will fill in ant space.
Incidentally, the hood on the MH Ghostwisperer that I used to have was tight fitting, nothing like the one in the video.

Thanks for that Rog but I'm not sure that either is quite right for me.

The Duomid copy is certainly cheap and would have been a good buy for me at another point in my life but it's now maybe a bit heavy to make it a sensible buy as I have something lighter. One question though. Does the weight include the heavy steel pegs meaning that the quoted weight could be reduced by using something lighter?

I'd like an inner in those single skin mids which makes them a bit short for me I think (I'm 6'2"). The size is the big problem with the Ali tents for people like us it seems.

In general it is a problem I agree. I bought a 2.4 metre long net inner linked upthread somewhere, and will get around to making my own mid to surround it. For years I used a Golite Hut1 with a mesh skirt sewn on. I'm now needing something a bit easier to get in and out of.

3f have a few 2.3m solo solid inners left which weigh about a pound. They fit Golite Hex3 ShangrLa, Luxepeak, and various Chinese hexagonal mids.
