He looks cold in the second picture
Make sure you get my size ....just in case you don't get on with it I've had these on my radar for a while...I love my OR deviator but this could be just the ticket when you know its going to be windy for a full day...
PHD bargain box extra 20% off today only
I was going to mention that honest, but only after snaffling the best bargains first...
There were some minimus jackets that I was hoping would go down to £160 but alas they all sold before I could get through.
Did the same myself!!...ooops Bought a Wafer jacket Drishell Plus for £160 smack on 9am this morning
Snap, sea green XL for me
Grey for me in large, hoping the fit is ok!
Sportpursuit has the Columbia OutDry Ex Featherweight Jacket Men's and Women's at £75 and £85 respectively. Limited sizes but it's the first time I've seen these come up on offer.
It shows as £145 to me?
It's the hiviz that's 74.99 204g which is probably a medium ?
Reviews look pretty mixed
I can't justify another waterproof, especially as we try to avoid rainy weather, but the Ex Featherweight caught my attention in this thread and this thread on BPL.
I just read through that thread again. Watched the diy hh test. Had a go with my recently bought £15 decathlon hooded windshirt. Came out at over 300mm and a simple breath test makes me think if anything it has a slightly higher cfm than my paramo enduro windproof. Think Paramount is ~5 cfm. Makes it a potential candidate for his Paramo type wpb system. Will try it with my montane allez fleece.
Thanks for that. I seem to have bought one even though I already own the thicker version.
suposedly all the good stuff under
this shell .....I.believe fabric is equlibrium and quantum mix as its highly breathable...186g size M...not shabby for semi insulated windshirt with hood
What jacket is that?
It looks like the Adidas Agravic Alpha Shield Hoodie. The question is, where's the bargain?
Edit to answer my own question:

Review makes the dwr sound ineffective, wish they'd make something like that in Epic.
Sports shoes have 40% off inov8 roclite 315. Tramplite seems very happy with them. Used them for his lakes trip, 1100+km and they still looked good. Think the mesh has kevlar in. Down sides, heard reports that it doesn't breath well, the mesh doesn't go down to the footbed like on the 305/ 325 so they won't drain as well. Think its just the upper that's different. My 325 are very comfy but I have to go up 1.5-2 sizes. I have the 325 in 11(fractionally too small) and 12 (fractionally too big) and typically they don't have 11.5.
This assumes the 315 is the same sizing as the 325.
We'll see Tuesday.
Some big reductions in the Rohan sale. I bought a pair of Ambler trousers for £29 https://www.rohan.co.uk/All-Mens-Sale-Offers-Amblers?ocode=04225595 Really nice lightweight softshell type trouser. Similar but lighter than the Troggings (terrible name!) which I also have and like. I suspect the Amblers will prove to be even better.
Hopefully your size is correct.... my large arrived this morning and it is huge!!! it hangs over two inches past my fingers and i can get two other down jackets under it!!! Spoke to them and they said send it back but they have no mediums left think i might just buy a different make as can’t afford their other stuff
The XL kappa they sent was a little long in the sleeves but good elsewhere, although in this weather I did not keep it on for long!
