Looking for a 20l day pack - preferably with external pockets but anything considered. Anybody got anything surplus? Any good recommendation also appreciated

Alpkit Gourdon 20. Side pockets and a bit of bungee on the front make it pretty functional. 450g ish

@Shewie beat me to it ;).

Terra Nova laser elite 20 . Almost pulled the trigger on a new one on ebay last week for £30 but can' find it now

Have the Alpkit Gourdon and its great, gets lots of abuse, thrown around the place and still looks new. I have the Laser elite as well, the one with the zip down the back and its great too, very easy to get stuff in and out and surprisingly takes loads of gear.

Yup I use a Gourdon 20 for wet gear/ chainsaw stuff at work and tn laser 20 was my goto before my myog packs. Only downside to both is no easily accessible water bottle pockets. My wife now uses my laser 35 and likes it.

I've got a deuter speed lite 20 which is great for shorter day trips. 2 water bottle pockets and an expanding mesh pocket on the bag as well as the zipped main compartment. Have a very small hip belt but is comfortable

Thanks everyone - Gourdon and TN Elite 20 both look good. Only black :frown: ones available currently so I'll have to wait unfortunately...

No I got it - no yellow TN's. Alpkit didn't even list orange and red at all, just had pic, so I emailed them. Black is just so depressive...
