In this video we are coming to you with the big overview of all the stuff we have and love using from Decathlon. When we were just starting out in backpacking and hiking more than 3 years ago we were able to buy all the necessary equipment in this store and until now we purchase most of the hiking and camping stuff there. We had the idea of making this video for quite a while now because we have quite a lot of things from this sport’s goods store and we find that they offer pretty good quality for being very budget-friendly at the same time. So these are going to be mostly clothes but also some camping and backpacking gear too.



What is some of your favorite gear to carry in your backpack?

I tested out a couple of decathlon items today in very fast, cold winds around 2700 ft and showery rain. Very light wind/rain jacket and their synthetic jacket(£20) both worked surprisingly really well and only had to use my usual rain jacket much later on in the day after long period of continous cold rain. Thumbs up

I got the down jacket (290g) for £40 and I’m really impressed so far!

I use their trousers for hiking, and fleeces, t-shirts & socks for work. The kids get most of their sports gear from Decathlon as well.

Exactly for this reason we like their products as they are inexpensive and good quality, very reasonably priced overall.

We are now in search for the winter down jackets, is the one you have suitable for winter? Or can you recommend the good ones?

Mh 500 fleece, Merino shirts, & previously stated down jacket are my favourite items from decathlon.

The Kalenji trail running rain jacket looks interesting. 200g in large, 10000hh, £55.
Anyone have this??
