I'm going to attempt to post a few pictures here using various hosting sites apps etc. I keep having intermittent success with posting photos and I don't want to annoy everyone with my dumb questions and failed attempts at posting photos. I have read all the posts on uploading pictures but I am obviously bewitched and can't make it work for me.

What I would like is for people to let me know if they can see the picture and what browser they are using. I am also happy for others to do the same on this thread.

Use the photo image upload thingy and pasting in the address I got from "Copy image address from Google Photo".

On my work laptop (macbook air) using google chrome I can see attempt 1 and 7.
Safari, attempt 1 and 7 works.
Firefox, attempt 1 and 7 works.

Thanks Ken, so Flickr is definitely the way to go.

Rog Tallbloke said Google Photos was an issue and I think Snoopdawg recommended flickr.
Now just waiting to see if my phone upload worked and if others can see the pictures as well.

I use Flikr after using Google Photos for ages - Google keep playing too much these days and it has not been easily useable for a long time.

Only 1and 8 for me. I used to use imgur but it only works on chrome and is slow,which is why I changed to Flickr which for is the easiest so far and automatically resizes pictures for forums. Just a little tip when you paste your code onto a forum you can remove the blurb from the word "by" and it will remove your name from the picture leaving the number only.

On android, I find it simpler to use Flickr in a browser to post pics, (easy to switch between tabs for Flickr n forum page).
I get the image url by opening the plain image ( press n hold image for options), copy it's URL, then pasting into the image link box on the forum.
