Some good choices there!
Robert, Im still not sure on the Chillcheaters as yet but am sure with time I will learn more with use, Im more used to mil grade sealskinz which I swear by so will be a new venture.
The Ti is an itch Ive been wanting to scratch for a while in making a cone so when I get time as I have a lot on my plate with work & getting time away for the SUW I will get around to making one & seeing how we go with it, your pictures of new cones only makes me more determined to make one 👍

With the Chillcheaters, use them over some normal socks (they are thin so don't take up too much volume, and this should help cushion any seams).
It is a bonus if you get on with them, as they seem to be so much more durable than other waterproof socks (way more durable than normal Sealskinz, though I don't know if the military ones are better).

Yes, the plan was to use them with injinji liner toe socks under them, they are a 40g saving on the sealskinz, & really only a fallback should I need it as walking with wet feet is not me, it contradicts everything I have done for so many years. I love the mil grade sealsinz been using them for 20 years now & no complaints here, Its handy though being in a position to get them exchanged free of charge at work & very different to the normal shop bought ones as they are more designed for tabbing in with combat boots so much better quality.

One of these. On eBay unused. Arrived today.
Trying it for summer.

Rotated with zip at bottom it works as a quilt without any straps. Might add a couple of tie outs and a neck snap

Might work ok as an over quilt too. Though a bit tight as an overbag

I wish more bags had openings at the foot end. As a stomach sleeper i often stretch out one leg verrrry long while having the other bent/tucked up a bit and almost always hit the bottom of the bag

I bought this a while back... So far it's been great and it's output and usable power has been impressive.
The cold weather rating along with the digital display sold it for me.
