What have you bought?

Ordered a sawyer micro squeeze as the flow rate on the mini is quite slow (even after a good clean using vinegar etc) and because its a bit easier to use on the go.
The naturehike soft-bottles arrived and look nice. Not compatible with the sawyer though (not yet).

Been on a bit of a bike bits binge lately. In the past 3 weeks I've bought the following:

Son28 dynohub wheel with Andra 30 rim, knock-off Jones loop bars, bio cork Ergon grips and bar tape for the bars, a click stand, couple of inner tubes, some spoke reflectors, stem extender, mudguard flap, Axa Victory frame lock with 1.4m chain and a set of hexlox for the wheels, saddle, seat post and stem, Topeak road morph pump, Spanninga Axendo 60 front and Elips rear dynamo lights, Powerbug USB dynamo charger, surly 38t stainless chainring and Hebie Chainglider, oh and a service kit for the Rohloff Hub.

I should probably not spend evenings on cycle forums :D

Way to go @Robert P - I dunno how people manage on 600ml, at least not if making a drink and rehydrating a meal on a single boil. I'd find it a squeeze at 750ml, and the same 900ml (Evernew) has done me for ages.

Your Toaks would look so much prettier wearing a nice alcy cone though...
I've almost exclusively used alcohol stoves (+ Caldera Cone or the Flatcat Snow Leopard system) the last few years, so it is fairly unusual for me to be using gas too (though in summer when there is a higher fire risk it can make sense). The Toaks 900ml pot is slightly narrower than my Evernew 600ml Sidewinder but with titanium pins to support the pot it might be a usable system.

After a walk along Stanage Edge followed by a pint I popped into Alpkit, Hathersage. I emerged some while later with a Dirtbag self inflating mat, Aero180 self inflating mat, 3 numo mats and a brewkit stove.

Grand total of £30.

They came from the rejects/returns and junk area :).

One of the numo's needs a puncture repair and clean. Fortunately there was a numo repair kit amongst what I got.

The aero has some delamination issues but usable.

The brewkit has valve issues so have to see if it can be fixed.

Overall though 4 decent mats for £30 ain't bad.

The valves on the Numo's work with an old style Thermarest pump sack which is a nice plus.
It's an interesting practice selling customer returns, faulty items, etc, at extremely reduced price.

The obviously damaged Numo mat was repaired easily and is now fine. The other two that appeared fine had multiple small very slow leaks along the seal at the foot end, which are now dealt with. I suspect a manufacturing problem. :)

Worryingly I can't find anything wrong with the dirtbag mat other than lack of a stuff sack. :o o:
