The Fleece and Jacket have matching, very long double pit zips (waist to elbow) so you can vent to the skin. Have used them for about 16 days now and it is my go to system. I wore it last week in Wales in rain and drizzle it was ok, although for winter I would not use the windproof in rain as it would wet out and freeze. I happen to see the latest version last week and the design has changed, no pit zips on fleece and smaller separate zips on the jacket. In my opinion this is a backward step.

Cheers for the reply... I tried one on in Keswick... I liked the feel & function of it.

8 black pudding sausages from one of local butchers that I've not used before..(they're made in house and we're grand @Tartanferret) .. So much for stockpiling.... I troughed the lot with some bacon, eggs, black pudding and a glass of bourbon....
So blood sausage & blood pudding.
Does the sunlight hurt yet? :angelic:
suppose it's hard enough for you getting a good sausage as most are only around 70% meat product?

Sausages and black gold are a dirty treat for me... But I've to watch the other ingredients.
With the local butcher, there's no dextrose or wheat added. He reckons most of his seasoned sausages, content is around 97% pork. Bit lean for me, but they are a welcome vice in moderation:thumbsup:

Sounds like my local butcher, no *****, just top quality, expensive but worth it. Cassidy in Hucknall, Notts is the place, just hop along there.

Montbell versalite rain pants from ULOG.

never realised they did montbell stuff tbh, was torn between getting the Dynamo wind pants or the versalites, I need rain gear so opted for them, suspect they will double up as rain/wind trousers anyway

I think these are the 4 or 5th pair of rain trousers I've bought this year, hopefully they are keepers

Finally, keepers.

Am guessing its just to make them more filling?
edit: & cheaper to make
Cheaper filling, falser feeling of full, plus the sweeteners make you swear that the asda/Sainsbury's /tesco finest etc are simply the best tasting..... When really the taste is rubbish.
mangalitsa pig (can be spelt different is where it is really at.... Very pricey... But considered to be some of the finest swine in the world?

Bought from Wahl a couple of days ago: https://www.wahl.co.uk/product/elite-pro-haircutting-kit/

With huge trepidation I just did my first DIY haircut.

I needn't have worried, I just followed a YouTube vid and it went fine. No.8 on top, graded 4 to 6 on the sides.

If you have a fancier hairstyle than mine then you might need more practice but for a graded short-back-and-sides it looks fine - even the missus thinks it looks OK.

Like a lot of others, I've thought about going that way but I'm no plumber and can't get anyone in at the moment. How'd you plumb it in?
Or get a bucket and a jug, which is what I used in the Far East for quite a long time. Fill the bucket with water from the tap and leave it by the loo. Use the jug or mug with your clean hand. Refill bucket as necessary.

I genuinely don't understand the panic buying of loo roll.

I used to do mine all the time, not that it was a fancy style, just a buzz cut that was simple to do. Might have to dig the clippers back out again as the hair gets longer.

Ordered a set myself last week, glad to hear it wasn’t a total disaster :)

I’m usually a 1.5 back and sides, trim on top and blended in

Can feel a new thread coming :)
