@Cali sadly due to GDPR regulations I cant see the jacket at S&C site...anyways I really love my Driclime. Its light and it breaths very well. I've found its best use is at sub zero
dry weather conditions but have been using it while trail running in snow/sleet and it performed great....i didnt stay dry but I wasnt soaking wet as the microliner is realy easy to dry with the body heat pumping....did you get yours in? Its a steal price BTW and I wish one for myself at that price....

@slovhike Yes, last week. First thing I thought when looking at the Driclime lining is I've seen this before. It's actually in the lower forearms of my Alpha 60. Bicomponent wicking was the key reason I got and seems to work as well as the Alpha in keeping dry while active. Noticeably more wind resistant than the Alpha 60. Not surprising as Quantum Air is higher CFM. The mesh venting helps with breathability. Had light rain past couple of days, sheds pretty easily, but have not tried for extended outing or heavy rain. It's a smoother more glossy face compared to Quantum Air on Alpha. If you like the Driclime you will probably also like the Alpha 60.

BTW, just ordered a Capilene Air crew 50% off in the Patagonia sale.

ME Kinesis trousers arrived. Wow, they’re fantastic. Ideal cold weather trews. Leg vents too. 225g for a Medium. Unfortunately they’ve only got Large ones left.

I'm still looking for something like Ronhill Tracksters but with hand pockets.

@Robin what is the difference between them please?

The fabric in the Troggins is thicker. Smooth outer surface and "fluffy" inner - but not pile - like soft shell but softer and with better drape.
Amblers much the same just thinnner.
Daughter had 2 pairs Troggins for school trousers - she wore them every day for 3 years and they barely look like they've been worn .

Yep. Troggings are slightly more water repellent too.

They sound exactly what I'm looking for.

I have several pairs of Ronhills and find the really comfortable. I wear then quite a bit of the time. I have a pair of Large which are close fitting and I find my legs are much colder than in the XLs. Its almost as though the air gap between my legs and the troos is acting as an insulator. My one reservation about the Rohans suggested is whether they will be as adaptable. I use Ronhills for sleeping in on occasion as well as more vertical activities.

I find the Amblers a bit clingy on my thighs (which are not massive) and so size up; I prefer baggyish personally.
They would be fine to sleep in.

The Amblers are quite soft and thin, so they’d be comfortable to sleep in. They are much more windproof than Ronhills, plus they look nicer and they have a zip fly.
