That looks superb. I’ve always liked the look of their harness and adjustable strap systems but the mesh pockets looked too tight and they were non waterproof robic. This addresses all that. Has anyone been using the 6 moon harness system?Six Moon Designs has brought back a redesigned Swift in a choice of Liteskin or Xpac.

Reinventing the Zero.
The Seek Outside Flight is now available. I think it looks pretty decent.
i got sent the 'ultralight ' gila to try and that also sits high and far from light. i managed to trim it down to 1.3kg but u have to remember these packs are built to carry half a buffalo down after a shoot. It's quite strange how low down the pack the straps are sited. It leaves a large amount of pack sitting very high. My first thought was about sun-hat brims bashing but also its just a bit odd. The external pocket also looks v narrow and so not as capacious as it ought to be.

Do you mean the shoulder straps? If so, I get what you mean, though I think that is when the pack is at full capacity in which case it looks similar to the GG Crown2 60, which has a similar capacity. It's quite strange how low down the pack the straps are sited. That swift x is now available on the six moons site. Looks very nice. and very expensive. I like how the side pockets are gusseted (unlike that seek outside pack where the side pockets seem to flatten out to not much at all at the bottom). height 22" but with extension collar is 33" (I asked, not given on website).
The adjustable height with velcro business is good I think. The Montane running pack that Chiseller really liked until he didn't (also called Swift? I can't remember) had a similar adjustment system and it seemed pretty solid. I bought one and sent it back for other reasons.
I have the new 25-40L Flex Capacitor and very impressed with it.
I do prefer the zipped lid to a roll top in use.
I’m thinking I might get the 40-60 or even the 60-75 for a longer trip I’m planning next winter.
