I think the curried porridge was me!!!
Basically I was on a trip and miscalculated rations and ended up with the last 2 days living on porridge. I had a little light my fire spice box with curry powder and other spices in so I just chucked em in!!! ............. Do not try unless very very hungry or very very bored of porridge. I actually really like porridge now and often add cinnamon, nutmeg, dried apple and banana, coconut and other berries depending on my taste.
I also like rice pudding so this is something you could try.
Quick cook boil in bag rice ( uncle bens or own brand type stuff)
Milk powder and sugar to suit taste.
Again I also add cinnamon or nutmeg etc
Wack in bag , wack in pot cozy, wack in water as per rice instructions for amount of rice use, I like it quite thick and creamy so use less water and more milk .....
Wack in mouth !!! Enjoy....
Good as a breaky or a pudding!
