Hi folks, had a quick search so apologies if this has already been done to death but as I have been inspired by members dry bake success I am about to buy the Epicurean Esbit stove but looking at postage and possible import charges I wondered if there was a UK alternative? Cheers for any help. Si

There's no European equivalent I know of. But if you get the DIY Stainless Steel version, it's 15 dollars shipped worldwide (weight difference is bound to be negligible). No chance of any surcharge as it comes in a small flat envelope as private mail.

Thanks Balagan - I must have just been looking at the Ti version. Will get that ordered :)

@Smidger The Goat the stove is easy DIY from a tin. Look for the smallest tin within original dimensions...remove lid/base and cut to get the desired `ring`..use a hole punch to add holes...or if for simmer/drybaking only they are not needed...for 15 bucks + shipping you get few extra tins to play with and some food as well..
