Good afternoon all,
I've been thinking about this over the past few days and thought I'd put it to the collective knowledge of the forum. What I'm hoping to avoid though is a debate about the pros and cons of the vegan diet.
.........
So then, good forum folks, any vegan-friendly, light-weight, calorie loaded snack based suggestions, or should I just resign myself to carrying 16 kilos of celery?
No.HALVA. Vegan?
Someone recently proposed halva, which I adore. But perhaps too much sugar rush for sensible mid day eating?
Read this entire post and nobody said it, HALVA. Vegan? and so nutrient dense you can get 1100 calories in your shirt pocket for 200g. Is honey vegan though? Might be just vague-an.
Not halva then.
Make some coconut oil flapjack instead. Dates very good for binding oats too.
